The Gunflint Mercantile is a very special place located in scenic Grand Marais Minnesota. As the door swings open, the Northwoods scent of a turn-of-the century mercantile is both pleasing and refreshing. The shelves are filled with soup & cookie mixes, wild rice blends, gourmet coffee, homemade syrups & jams, locally made gifts, and much much more.

The chocolate lover’s eyes naturally perk up with the amazing selection of Fudge. Many have found it difficult to choose which of the mouth-watering flavors to take home... from Maple Bacon to Almond Joy or Monster Cookie to Dark Chocolate Cayenne, we’ve pretty much got a flavor for everyone! For those having difficulty choosing, we offer free samples and a “Fudge of the Day”.

Gunflint Mercantile is a flavorful step back in time. Whether you need to cool off from the summer’s heat with an ice cream cone or warm your body with a fresh cup of soup you are certain to find the Mercantile a fun, relaxing, and memorable experience.
